Featuring overworked kittehs, flamewars and pilfered memes, Taiwanese animation factory Next Media Animation have cast their attention on Cheezburger Network, whom we previously wrote about for raising $30 million this week.

The video addresses speculation that Cheezburger Network owner Ben Huh kills the memes he professes to love, and steals the best material from other bloggers without attribution or compensation, building entire websites out of them. Cheezburger Network properties include the eponymous I Can Haz Cheezburger, Failblog and There, I Fixed It.

Having exploded on the scene for their re-enactment of Tiger Wood’s SUV crash, as well as the meltdown of JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater, NMA have time and again proved remarkably adept at reporting and interpreting major American cultural events,¬†albeit with a lighter touch.

Previously dipping its toe into America’s media wars with a satire of The New York Times/Wall Street Journal local journalism gang war, it could be argued that today’s news isn’t really news unless it gets the Taiwanese animation treatment.¬†
